British actor, producer, and content creator Terry Stone is the man behind some of the world’s biggest club nights. For over a decade, he ran the legendary Dreamscape, Garage Nation and One Nation dance music events that earned him the “best club promoter” on several occasions. Despite his lucrative career in the music industry, most will recognise Stone for his notable recurring role on the longstanding BBC soap Eastenders, ITV’s The Bill and the comedy series My Family. From there, he would star in several films, including the BAFTA-nominated and Raindance Award-winning film Rollin’ With The Nines.
Throughout his incredibly eclectic and prolific career, Stone has become a renowned producer alongside his acting work. He has produced over thirty titles to date, such as Shank, Doghouse, Anuvahood, Get Lucky, and Once Upon A Time in London. Coming from a working-class background, Stone was born in Brixton, London, and grew up in Putney and Camberley. His hardworking attitude and steely grit have paid providence from his days as a raver to his extraordinary career in the limelight. So much so that Stone has accumulated his life’s story in his memoir King of Clubs. From exposing industry secrets to giving insight into how he gave over 10 million clubbers the best night of their lives, his book became an instant hit and a no. 1 Amazon bestseller across numerous categories.
Beyond the screen, Stone is a sought after speaker. He offers an intimate, experience-led insight into the film industry, his thoughts on social issues as well as pop culture.
