The Rudeboyz

The Rudeboyz are a producer duo originally from Colombia who have worked extensively with artists including Shakira, Reykon and Maluma.

The Rudeboyz, also known as Kevin Jimenez and Bryan Lezcano, have been working together since the early 2000’s, and during that time have become some of the most iconic figures in the world of Latin American music. They started out with a basic studio at Jimenez’s house, rapidly progressing to bigger and better production equipment as they worked with more established artists and made a name for themselves. Some of their best known work is with Colombian artists Reykon and Maluma, having won and been nominated for several awards for their work with these reggaeton musicians. They have won a Nuestra Tierra Award with Reykon’s single Sin Miedo in 2012 as well as two Latin Grammys for their work with Maluma. In 2016, The Rudeboyz got the biggest break of their career so far in 2016 when they produced Shakira’s track Chantaje. The song went straight to number one on the Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs, with The Rudeboyz going on to work with the international megastar on her next album including hits such as Deja Vu and Me Enamore.

This dynamic duo continue to work on global projects and are currently signed to Sony ATV Latin. With nearly 44k followers on Instagram they are one of the best known acts to come out of Colombia in recent years and have a growing fanbase.
