Thea Megan Trinidad Büdgen, born on December 27, 1990, in Queens, New York, developed an early interest in professional wrestling, inspired by figures like Rey Mysterio. Her childhood was marked by a profound loss when her father, Michael Angel Trinidad, a telecom analyst for Cantor Fitzgerald, died in the September 11 attacks. This personal tragedy, which occurred when she was ten, influenced her decision to enter the wrestling profession. She trained under notable figures such as Javi-Air and Azrieal, making her professional wrestling debut in February 2010 under the ring name Divina Fly. Her early career included appearances in National Wrestling Superstars (NWS) and Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU).
Trinidad gained broader recognition when she joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2011, performing as Rosita. During her time in TNA, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Sarita, as part of the Mexican America stable. Following her departure from TNA in 2013, Trinidad worked on the independent circuit, appearing in promotions like Family Wrestling Entertainment (FWE), Global Force Wrestling (GFW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Shine Wrestling, and World Wonder Ring Stardom. She also made several brief appearances for WWE, including as one of Adam Rose’s “rosebuds” in 2014.
In 2017, Trinidad officially signed with WWE, adopting the ring name Zelina Vega. Initially serving as the manager for Andrade “Cien” Almas, she transitioned to an in-ring competitor. Her WWE career includes winning the inaugural Queen’s Crown Tournament in 2021, a significant achievement that led to her temporary ring name change to Queen Zelina. She also secured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Carmella and most recently, the WWE Women’s United States Championship in 2025. Beyond wrestling, Trinidad has pursued acting, notably portraying AJ Lee in the 2019 film “Fighting with My Family,” and providing voice work as a color commentator for the video game “Street Fighter 6.”
