Thitipoom Techaapaikhun

Thitipoom Techaapaikhun, born on January 30, 1993, in Bangkok, Thailand, and nicknamed New, developed a strong academic background before pursuing his career in entertainment. He spent his early childhood in Yala and Hat Yai, where he completed his secondary education. Academically, he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and subsequently a master’s degree in business administration from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, both at Chulalongkorn University. This educational foundation underscores a methodical and dedicated approach that has translated into his professional endeavors.

New began his entertainment journey as a model and quickly transitioned into television hosting, becoming one of the hosts for Bang Channel’s “Five Live Fresh” in 2013. His acting debut followed in 2014 with a supporting role in GMMTV’s “Room Alone: The Series.” He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Kao in GMMTV’s “Kiss: The Series” (2016), a role he reprised in “Kiss Me Again” (2018) and, prominently, as a main lead in “Dark Blue Kiss” (2019). His career progression includes notable main roles such as Apo in “Water Boyy” (2017) and Tee-Det in “I’m Tee, Me Too” (2020), demonstrating his versatility across various series.

Continuing to build his filmography, New starred in the Thai adaptation of the Japanese manga “Cherry Magic” (2023) as Achi, a role that garnered global attention and strong social media engagement. In 2024, he took on the lead role of Home in “Peaceful Property” and made a guest appearance in “Break Up Service.” Beyond acting, Thitipoom is also an entrepreneur, co-owning a spa named Bamboo Secrets with Tawan Vihokratana and managing his own online clothing brand, Newwave, highlighting his business acumen alongside his entertainment career.
