Thomas Day was a contestant on Season 15 of America’s Got Talent who performed as a vocalist. During the Quarterfinals, he was forced to withdraw, but he returned as a Wild Card in the Semifinals, where he was eliminated. Day is a Nashville-based singer and sportsman. He has entertained crowds on ice during hockey games and on fields during soccer, football, and baseball games throughout his life. Day is currently regarded as one of the best football prospects in the United States. His genuine heart’s desire, though, is music. Day spends his time at home singing for his parents, playing the piano, and writing songs when he is not on the field.
In Episode 1502 of America’s Got Talent, Day auditioned by performing FINNEAS’ “Break My Heart Again.” He advanced to the next round after Howie Mandel voted “No” while Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell voted “Yes.” Day was set to perform in Episode 1513, however he and his mother contracted COVID-19, preventing him from competing in the Quarterfinals. His role in Episode 1513 was completed by Nolan Neal, and his spot in the Quarterfinals was taken by Broken Roots.
Day returned as a Wild Card for the Semifinals after recuperating from COVID-19, despite not performing in the Quarterfinals. In Episode 1517, he sang a cover of Billie Eilish’s “When The Party’s Over.” He received standing ovations from Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. In Episode 1518, Day did not garner enough votes to advance to the Finals, and was eliminated. In 2021, he released his debut single ‘Softly’. Day keeps up with his fans on Instagram @thomasdaymusic, where he boasts almost 250,000 followers.
