Thu Trang, whose full name is Tran Ngoc Thu Trang, was born on September 23, 1984, in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She began her career in entertainment while studying at the Ho Chi Minh City College of Theater and Cinema in 2002. Initially performing comedy to help support her family through economic difficulties, she gradually transitioned into acting in films as she received more invitations. Her early career saw her appear in various projects, building a foundation for her future success in Vietnamese cinema and television.

Over the years, Thu Trang established herself as a notable actress and producer. Her filmography includes a range of successful projects, such as the films “Sweet 20,” “798 Ten,” and “Blood Moon Party.” She also gained recognition for her work in television, particularly with the sitcom “Family is No. 1,” and the web series “Thirty’s Sister” and “My Neighbor’s Stories.” Her talent expanded beyond acting to include production, with credits as an executive producer on films like “13rd Sister” (2019) and “13rd Sister: Three Deadly Days” (2020), demonstrating her comprehensive involvement in the filmmaking process.
