Gerard grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she began cooking aged 14 when her Dad took too long to make dinner. She later moved to the snowy mountains of Colorado, and her new home is a converted horse barn where she spends her time experimenting with recipes, photographing her food for her cookbooks and social media accounts and feeding her family. The famous foodie aims to inspire a love for food in others as well as giving them the confidence to try something new.
