After contributing to the album ‘Mega Force’ with the group 707 in 1982, Tod Howarth rapidly established himself as a versatile musician, songwriter, and vocalist across the hard rock and heavy metal landscape. His early career showcased significant collaborative contributions, including providing background vocals for Ted Nugent’s acclaimed album ‘Penetrator’ in 1984 and for Loudness’s ‘Hurricane Eyes’ in 1987. A pivotal moment arrived in 1987 when Howarth joined Frehley’s Comet, the band led by former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley.
In 2008, Howarth rejoined the iconic rock band Cheap Trick for a special performance at their 30th anniversary Budokan show, lending his talents on keyboards and backing vocals.
