Tom Arnold is an American actor, comedian, and television host, known for his versatile career in entertainment spanning over four decades. After being hired as a staff writer for the acclaimed television sitcom ‘Roseanne’ in 1988, Tom Arnold quickly became a recognizable presence, also starring on the show as the character ‘Arnie Thomas.’ His writing contributions to the series were recognized with a prestigious Peabody Award. This breakthrough followed a burgeoning career in stand-up comedy, which he initiated in 1983 with performances at the University of Iowa.
