Vado has been ascending through the Hip-Hop ranks with the help of his unique flow and critically praised mixtapes, beginning with the release of Slime Flu, following in the footsteps of rappers like Big L and his former mentor and collaborator, Cam’ron. Of course, his earliest claim to fame was his work with Cam’ron, and the two collaborated on two albums and a mixtape, “Heat in Here Vol. 1,” “Guzz N’ Busta,” and “Boss of All Bosses.” The two are members of Cam’ron’s Harlem-based Hip-Hop group, U.N. The Harlem-based rapper began releasing tunes with his partner Jae Millz when a mutual contact connected him to Cam and Dipset. Since then, he’s worked with a variety of rappers, including Ace Hood, Wale, and Big Sean, as well as producing solo mixtapes and albums.
In 2010, he appeared on DJ Khaled’s album “We the Best Forever.” In 2011, he released “Gunz n’ Butta,” a collab with Cam’ron. In 2013, he signed to DJ Khaled’s We the Best label. Vado has made appearances on VH1 series such as “Love & Hip Hop” and “Black Ink Crew.” In 2013, Vado released the track “Look Me in My Eyes,” which featured Rick Ross and French Montana as special guests, after performing on Lil Wayne’s “Dedication 5” and DJ Khaled’s “Suffering from Success.” “Sinatra” was his debut EP, which he followed up with “Sinatra 2” and “Sinatra 2.5” in 2017, and “Sinatra 3” in 2018. In 2019, he released two albums: “V-Day 3” and “Long Run Vol. 1.” “1 of 1,” “Respect The Jux,” and “White Toes” in 2021 are some of his most recent singles. On Spotify, Vado has over 240 thousand monthly listeners, while on YouTube, he has over 83 thousand followers and 41 million views.
