Venus D-Lite

Adam Daniel Guerra, born on September 5, 1983, in Rosemead, California, became widely known under his stage name, Venus D-Lite. His career in drag officially began on August 5, 2002, initially impersonating Marilyn Monroe. He studied business at Orange Coast College and later pursued a film degree at Los Angeles Community College before dedicating himself to a full-time career in drag. Early in his career, he made his television debut on ‘The Ricki Lake Show’ in 2003, laying the groundwork for future media appearances.

Venus D-Lite gained significant national recognition as a contestant on the third season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ which premiered on January 24, 2011. Although he was eliminated in the first episode, placing thirteenth, his appearance on the show increased his public profile. Following ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ he made a guest appearance on the fourth season of the show. In 2014, he appeared on ‘Botched’ for rhinoplasty surgery. A notable milestone in his career was his feature on an episode of ‘My Strange Addiction’ in 2015, titled “Addicted To Being Madonna,” where he discussed his extensive dedication to impersonating Madonna, including spending over $175,000 on 19 surgeries to enhance his resemblance for performances.

Beyond his Madonna impersonation, D-Lite has also impersonated other notable figures such as Marilyn Monroe, Paris Hilton, Cher, Gwen Stefani, Judy Garland, and Barbra Streisand. He expanded his creative endeavors into music, releasing his debut single “I’m Not Madonna” featuring Jenn Cuneta on July 7, 2014. Subsequently, he collaborated with fellow ‘Botched’ guests Toby Sheldon and Kitty Jay on the single “The Plastics.” Throughout his career, Venus D-Lite has maintained a consistent presence in the entertainment industry, contributing to various television programs and web series, including ‘Skin Wars’ and ‘Hey Qween!’.
