Acid Betty

Acid Betty established herself as a distinct presence in the drag community through a diverse range of professional achievements across film, television, music, and live stage. In 2008, she was a guest on Project Runway’s fifth season, an episode featuring RuPaul as a guest judge. The following year, 2009, she appeared in the film An Englishman in New York alongside John Hurt. Her presence was further solidified with involvement in the 2010 web series documentary Queens of Drag: NYC, which also featured notable drag performers Peppermint, Bianca Del Rio, and Mimi Imfurst.

The same year, she expanded her musical catalog with two additional singles, ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Acid (Drop).’ The music video for ‘Acid (Drop)’ garnered attention for featuring fellow celebrated drag artists Kim Chi and Bob the Drag Queen, further cementing her status within the drag music scene. Beyond her growing music career, Acid Betty continued to explore acting and live performance opportunities. In 2018, she made a cameo appearance in Hulu’s drama series The Path, demonstrating her versatility across different entertainment mediums. In July 2020, she was a featured performer in the Drive N’ Drag show, an innovative live event format, showcasing her continued involvement in diverse projects within the entertainment industry and reaching audiences through unique presentation styles.

Looking ahead, Acid Betty is slated to return to the forefront of drag competition, with a highly anticipated announcement made in April 2025. She will be one of eighteen former contestants competing in the tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, promising to bring her distinctive artistry and visual performances back to a global audience.
