Violette Wautier

Violette Wautier is a Thai-Belgian singer, songwriter, and actress known for her musical achievements and acclaimed acting roles in film and television. After gaining national recognition on season 2 of The Voice Thailand in 2013, Violette Wautier swiftly launched a multifaceted career as a singer, songwriter, and acclaimed actress. Her acting debut came with the horror film ‘The Swimmers’ in 2014, followed by her role in ‘Heart Attack’ (2015), which earned her the prestigious Suphannahong Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2016. She continued to build her filmography with roles in ‘A Gift’ (2016) and the indie film ‘Die Tomorrow’ (2017).

Parallel to her early acting success, Wautier released her pop single ‘Gor Kai Mai Me Chan (Just Without Me)’ and served as a radio DJ for Cat Radio, while also earning her Faculty of Communication Arts degree in Motion Pictures and Still Photography from Chulalongkorn University in 2015. In 2018, Wautier took a significant step in her musical journey by establishing her independent record label, The Wautier Record, allowing for greater artistic control. Under her own label, she released her first English-language single ‘Drive’ in 2018, quickly followed by the groundbreaking hit ‘Smoke’ in the same year. ‘Smoke’ became a viral sensation, accumulating over 90 million views on YouTube and topping charts in 8 countries, including Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, cementing her status as the most-streamed English-language Thai artist.

Her sustained success was further recognized with multiple awards in 2024, including Best Female Artist and Best Drama Song from the Guitar Mag Awards, and Best Female Artist and Best Solo Female Artist from the 33rd Season Awards.
