Whindersson Nunes is a multifaceted Brazilian talent, moving from a YouTube comedy sensation to an actor, musician, and professional boxer.

Whindersson Nunes Batista, born on January 5, 1995, in Palmeira do Piauí, Brazil, began his journey in entertainment at an early age. His comedic talent led him to YouTube, where he registered his channel in 2013. Initially facing challenges in gaining traction, his persistence paid off with the viral success of his parody “Alô vó, tô reprovado” in 2012, which quickly amassed five million views. Despite a setback in 2013 when his original channel was hacked and deleted, Nunes promptly launched a new channel that same year. This new endeavor saw him consistently produce various content, including parodies, vlogs, songwriting, and movie reviews, often featuring his signature simplistic editing and comedic portrayal of everyday life.
Nunes achieved significant milestones on YouTube, with his channel becoming the most subscribed in Brazil in October 2016, surpassing Porta dos Fundos. Additionally, he was recognized as the second most influential YouTuber globally in the same year by Snack Intelligence. His video “WHAT IS THE WIFI PASSWORD – Parody Adele – Hello” exceeded 69 million views. Beyond his digital presence, Nunes expanded into traditional acting, appearing in films such as “Internet – O Filme” (2017) and “Os Parças” (2017), where he played the role of Ray Van. He also ventured into stand-up comedy, with his special “Whindersson Nunes: Adulto” released on Netflix in 2019.
Demonstrating further diversification, Nunes embarked on a boxing career. He made his amateur debut in September 2019, securing a win via unanimous decision. This was followed by an exhibition bout against former WBO super featherweight champion Acelino Freitas in January 2022, which resulted in a draw. His commitment to boxing continued with participation in the Kingpyn Boxing High Stakes Tournament in 2023, where he secured a technical knockout victory against Filipek in the quarter-finals. Nunes later made his professional boxing debut in October 2023 and is scheduled to fight Neeraj Goyat in November 2024 on the undercard of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson event, showcasing his dedication to evolving his career across multiple domains.
