William Arndt is a professional gridiron Football quarterback currently playing for the Albany Firebirds of the Arena Football League (AFL). His Football journey began at Western Connecticut State University, where he set multiple records, including most passing yards in a career with 7,940 yards and total touchdowns with 91. His leadership was evident as he served as team captain for three seasons and earned a spot on the All MASCAC Academic Team twice, showcasing both his athletic and academic prowess.
Arndt’s professional career commenced when he signed with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2017. Although he spent his initial seasons as a backup, he made significant strides in 2019, stepping in as the starting quarterback during critical games. In his first start, he completed 28 of 42 passes for 288 yards, demonstrating his potential as a reliable quarterback.
