William Vincent Fuller V was born on April 16, 1994, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Roman Catholic High School, where he excelled in high school football and was named the MVP of the Philadelphia Catholic League 4A in 2012. A four-star recruit, Fuller initially committed to Penn State before switching to Notre Dame in August 2012.

Fuller was drafted by the Houston Texans as the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He immediately made an impact, recording over 100 receiving yards in his NFL debut. Over his tenure with the Texans (2016-2020), he demonstrated his deep-threat ability, highlighted by a 2019 game with 14 receptions for 217 yards and three touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons.
