The incredible and multi-talented X Margeaux Simms is a provocative visual entrepreneur who creates music, fashion, and art. She is best known for appearing on VH1’s reality TV series, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, alongside her former husband and musical collaborator, Nikko London. She later joined the cast of the reality TV series, Marriage Boot Camp, where she and her girlfriend Merika Palmiste became the first same-sex couple to appear on the show.
Born and raised in Toronto of Jamaican descent, Simms began writing music when she was 14-years-old. She studied fashion design at Ryerson Polytechnic University where she also sang on Hip Hop tracks recorded at a studio in Oshawa. She moved to New York after graduating to pursue a career as a fashion designer, and interned with the designer Betsey Johnson. However, she decided to change career paths and began to pursue life as a musician, putting together the group Test Drive. In 2010 she released her debut EP, Animal House. The following year she started work on a new project with future husband, Nikko London, called Invaderz. In 2012 Simms briefly joined the rock band Roma! under the stage name Bomba!. Then, in 2015, after appearing in an episode of an online documentary series, Second Skin, it was announced that she and her husband would be appearing in the fourth season of VH1’s reality TV series, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. In 2017, her second EP, Black Cocaine, was released. Aside from music, Simms also set up her own creative brand, House of Margeaux, which consisted of a clothing line and a hand-painted skateboard line, called Tokiebow.
