Yohan Kisser

Yohan Kisser was born in 1997 in Brazil. From a young age, he developed an interest in music, influenced by his father, Andreas Kisser, the lead guitarist for the metal band Sepultura. Yohan began playing guitar and developed a foundation in both acoustic and classical guitar styles, alongside an understanding of music theory. This background prepared him for his professional music career.

In 2012, Yohan and his father formed The Kisser Clan. This band was created to provide Yohan with stage experience and allow him to perform in various settings. The Kisser Clan focuses on playing covers of classic metal and rock bands. Their repertoire includes songs from artists such as Motorhead, The Scorpions, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and KISS. Kisser Clan has performed at events such as Rock na Praça – 4ª Edição in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2016. Yohan contributes on guitar, alongside Gustavo Giglio on drums and Amílcar Cristófaro on bass. He also plays guitar in his own band, Sioux 66. Yohan has demonstrated skill in performing diverse musical styles, from progressive rock and heavy metal to acoustic pieces.

Beyond his performance work, Yohan Kisser has also engaged in media activities. Since January 2013, he has co-hosted a radio show with his father, titled ‘Pegadas de Andreas Kisser’ (Andreas Kisser’s Footprints), on the Brazilian radio station 89FM Rádio Rock. This program often features Brazilian bands and includes interviews with musicians. His involvement in both performing and media roles highlights his commitment to music and his development within the industry.
