The dedicated young sportsman Zhou Yuelong is a professional snooker player, who has been runner-up at three ranking events since 2020. He has also represented his native China at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games winning an individual and team Bronze. And as a 15-year-old, he was part of the China B team who lifted the 2015 Snooker World Cup.
Born and raised in China, Zhou Yuelong started playing snooker at a young age, and between 2011 and 2014 was regularly selected in the wildcard round of Chinese ranking events. In 2013, at the age of 15, he won the IBSF World Snooker Championship, enabling him to turn professional for the 2014-15 season.
Since then Zhou Yuelong has proven to be a formidable opponent on the baize, and has reached the finals of the 2017/18 Championship League; the 2019/20 European Masters; the 2019/20 Shoot Out; and the 2022/23 Northern Ireland Open.
