James McVey has teamed up with Co-op to spread their latest news on social media.
Guitarist, songwriter and member of pop-rock phenomenon The Vamps, James McVey is spreading the word about The Co-op’s store at Download Festival this year. Stocked with everything you need to keep rocking all weekend, their custom-built festival outlet will be open daily until 3am each night and feature the sounds of a resident in-store DJ.
With everything you need from beer to snacks, water, wine and toiletries, the Co-op are helping you avoid that extra weight in your backpack when you arrive at Download. Whatever the weather, you’ll be able to find what you need, from sun cream to rain ponchos. Paying is also as simple as a tap, with a wide variety of contactless payments accepted.
As part of a brand new recycling initiative, Co-op are also providing two machines which are able to recycle empty plastic bottles. Once the bottles are deposited, you’ll be rewarded with a handy voucher to use at the Co-op store: or you can choose to donate to the Co-op Foundation charity instead. All bottles returned and recycled will find a new life as Co-op water bottles.
