Responsible Gambling Week is a cross-industry initiative aimed at promoting responsible gambling, running from 1st – 7th November. RGW hopes to create a conversation with customers, staff and the wider public about gambling responsibly, raising awareness of how to gamble responsibly and offering sources of advice and support to those affected by gambling addiction. This year, the initiative is aiming to reach sports fans across the UK.

Sam Quek is one of Britain’s top field hockey players. In August 2016, she played in the Rio Olympic Games, winning her 50th cap for Great Britain. Her and the team won the gold medal after triumphing against the Netherlands in the final on penalties, earning Britain their first Olympic gold for women’s hockey. She was awarded an MBE in the New Years Honours List 2017 for services to sport.
