House legend Marshall Jefferson is on the cover of this month’s DJ Mag in Spain.

DJ Mag’s Spanish publication is one of Europe’s most prestigious electronic music magazines. This month’s issue boasts a cover story on none other than Marshall Jefferson, house pioneer and Chicago legend.

The DJ-producer gave a career-spanning interview across an eight-page spread in the mag, touching on everything from Ibiza, 909s, Masters at Work, Jesse Saunders, Todd Terry, and much, much more.

Marshall Jefferson is fresh off the back of a major win at this year’s DJ Awards. He took home the coveted trophy for Electronic Music Pioneer. And it was well deserved. Since the genre’s birth in the 1980s, Jefferson has been at the forefront of house music. From producing iconic tracks like ‘Move Your Body’, to having a hand in the development of acid house, deep house and ghetto house as the genre grew. Other winners on the night included Carl Cox, HARDWELL, and Armin Van Buuren.
