Tropical Disco bring Marshall Jefferson and Joey Negro to London’s Night Tales for what’s undoubtedly their most impressive line-up to date.
Producers Sartorial and Moodena are Tropical Disco, two sonically minded individuals united by a shared passion for music, parties and vinyl culture. Since kicking off TD in 2018, they’ve built one of London’s hottest imprints, consistently hitting the top of vinyl and digital charts across all platforms with feel-good groovers that repurpose classic funk, jazz, soul and boogie into a modern dancefloor context, breathing a vital new spirit into the genre of nu-disco. On top of their tireless release schedule, they’ve been holding regular parties across the UK, Europe and Asia, invariably bringing in special guests from the realms of disco and house to liven up the proceedings.
On Friday 21st June, they’re putting on what’s set to be their wildest party yet, with “godfather of house” Marshall Jefferson coming down to Hackney’s Night Tales to play a rare disco set before revered selector Joey Negro takes to the turntables. As usual, label heads Moodena and Sartorial will be bringing uplifting sounds and ecstatic vibrations before the headliners tear things up until 3AM.

“Both Joey Negro and Marshall Jefferson have been a massive influence on Tropical Disco Records, so it’s huge honour to have such musical royalty come and join us as guests.”
