London genre heavyweights Reggae Roast are throwing an enormous party for New Year’s Eve 2017, featuring General Levy, Mad Professor and a roster of Reggae luminaries.
Reggae Roast are known for their stellar ‘Sunday Skank’ events at Brixton Jamm, as well as their crowd-pleasing festival sets and soundsystem shows. With a reputation like theirs, it’s no surprise the brand is throwing one of 2017’s biggest New Year’s Eve parties at The Fox & Firkin in Lewisham, featuring some of Reggae’s leading lights.
The lineup features headliner General Levy, who is capping off a fantastic 2017. The vocalist found success with his remix of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’, while his hit single ‘Incredible’ with M Beat continues to play an important part in both Reggae and mainstream radio.
General Levy has already kicked off his 2018 European tour, which will span well into the new year, and take him to destinations such as Manchester, Amsterdam and Whitstable.
Joining Levy on the bill are frequent Reggae Roast collaborators MCs Natty Campbell and Shumba Youth, as well as Mad Professor & Joe Ariwa, and a host of other names.
Tickets cost £15, and the event’s date is of course 31st December 2017.
