Clara Amfo shares her story in 'Lincoln Live' stream for University of Lincoln's Virtual Classroom | News | Talent | MN2S

MN2S partnered BBC Radio personality Clara Amfo with the University of Lincoln for a live stream about her education, career, and more.

Clara Amfo is widely recognized for her weekday Live Lounge slot on BBC Radio 1. Earlier this month, the award-winning broadcaster partnered with the University of Lincoln for a segment titled “My Life in The Media: From University Graduate to Broadcaster”. The event was live-streamed on Facebook as part of the university’s Virtual Classroom series, which hosts guest speakers from the worlds of business, politics, entertainment, and more. Clara is set to return for a second Facebook Live Q&A on 11th July as part of the university’s Virtual Open Day, in which she will answer questions from a current student.

Broadcast on May 20th, the stream began with Clara chatting with potential students about the University. She touched on what makes the University of Lincoln unique and why to attend, specifically for those interested in media and the arts. The stream then closed with an open Q&A session, allowing viewers to ask questions and receive live responses in real-time. Streaming for over 40 minutes, Clara’s Virtual Classroom session is another successful example of how technology can be utilised to harness and broadcast the influence of talented speakers online.
