Ledley King appears on joe.co.uk | News | MN2S Talent

Former professional footballer Ledley King is now a regular on popular sports website Joe.co.uk’s weekly football chat show.

Former professional footballer Ledley King is still very much admired in the game, and by all of those who watch it. As such it makes perfect sense that he has been snapped up by innovative football website and broadcaster JOE.co.uk for a brand new type of discussion show that will see him field questions and get deep into discussion of all the key footballing issues. Watch the latest episode here.

In an exciting move, the much loved JOE team have started a world’s first: broadcasting a TV show live on Facebook. They do so at 7pm on a Friday evening and it finds experienced and respected football writers Dion Fanning and Tony Barrett discuss all the big footballing matters of the week, plus recent fixtures and the biggest news and talking points from the globally admired Premier League. Always attracting some of the biggest names to guests in the show, their latest singing is a true giant of the modern game.

Queens Park Rangers v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League

The Bow, London born Ledley King was a rock solid defender for England on 21 occasions and even clocked up two goals for the national side. He was famously captain for Tottenham Hotspur throughout his time with the club and in all played 268 games for the one and only side he ever represented. Sadly, he was forced to retire back in 2012 after persistent injury problems, but has since been voted as one of the Top 25 Spurs players of all time.

With such experience on the pitch and with so many years insight into the game behind him, Ledley is a perfectly placed former pro who can discuss all things football in great detail. Dedicated and professional at all times, he is used to being on TV given that he works as a pundit on ITV and Sky Sports and also works as an ambassador for Tottenham Hotspur.

Topics for discussion include who is the most hated club, should Jose Mourinho really drop Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney and much more. Because the whole thing is streamed live on Facebook, interaction is a key part of the show. It means you can ask any questions you like in the comments section and have Ledley, Dion and Tony tackle your subject live.

This is a great opportunity to learn from and engage with a real footballing legend, so don’t miss out and head to JOE.co.uk or their Facebook page at 7pm on Friday to get involved.
