It’s time once again to look at releases from the MN2S label services group from the past month.
The first two weeks of 2016 saw releases from LoveStyle Records artists Andruss & Andru Rai. Their track The Sign, and two accompanying remixes, are anthemic house tracks that are sure to be huge on the club scene. We also saw the first release from Hideo Kobayashi’s brand new record label, Fuente Music. The label’s first release is the jazzy, chilled out ‘When Love Was Infinite’. Produced by Kobayashi himself, the track boasts vocals from Christa, and a remix from Eric Kupper. Decay Records released Geddes’s ‘Mandown’ and ‘Emotions’. These edgy, minimal tracks were a great addition to the start of the year.
The third week of January saw some great tracks from the Different Attitudes label. They released Deepkeen’s Human Blood EP, and Underfloor’s Toddyssey EP, both of which are highly danceable house offerings with a darker tone. Vibe Killers released their minimal track ‘Leave A Message’ on sinnmusik* too this week, cementing their reputation as a solid provider of high quality electronic music. We also saw releases from DJ Cahio and Alternative Kasual.
Finally, at the start of this week we saw new music from the Celesta Recordings label. They released Neverdogs’ rhythmic ‘No Excuse’ and three accompanying remixes. UNDR THE RADR put out a great new track from S-Man that featured Mr V on vocals. The song challenges the notion that “nothing good happens after 6am.” Also this week, Krankbrother released a fantastic new lo fi minimal track from Jody Barr.
These releases alone show that 2016 is going to be a great year for everyone who is a part of the MN2S label services group.
