Alaia & Gallo

Elia Alaia and Aurelio Gallo, collectively known as Alaia & Gallo, are a pair of Italian DJs and producers who began their collaborative musical journey in the early 2010s. Their initial single, “Sole e Vento,” was released in June 2012 by the Italian label Ego Music. This early work laid the groundwork for their evolving sound. In 2013, they achieved their first significant club success with the track “Beat of the Drum.” This release climbed the Beatport charts, eventually securing the number one position in the house genre, marking their arrival in the electronic music scene.

Following their breakthrough, Alaia & Gallo continued to release music that garnered attention from prominent DJs, including Claptone, and received consistent airplay on various international radio stations. Their tracks have been featured on compilations such as Defected Records’ “In The House Ibiza 2016.” A notable release in their discography is “Who Is He?,” signed to Soul Heaven Records, which became a significant crossover hit due to its soulful elements and house rhythms. Their production approach is characterized by integrating diverse musical genres, contributing to a distinctive and engaging sound in their releases.

Alaia & Gallo’s career has seen consistent progression, with their music being released on established labels. They have performed in various clubs throughout Europe, delivering sets that showcase their blend of house and tech house. Their discography includes collaborations and releases on labels such as Glasgow Underground, In Stereo, Armada Subjekt, Glitterbox, Toolroom Records, Elrow Music, and Defected Records Ltd. They continue to produce and perform, maintaining their presence in the electronic music landscape.
