Wideboys are an electronic dance duo renowned for their production and remixing expertise, making them a valuable asset for music-related brand collaborations and events. After gaining significant recognition for their remixing work, including two prominent remixes for Artful Dodger’s ‘Re-Rewind’ and ‘Woman Trouble’ featuring Craig David, both of which achieved Top Ten status on the U.K. singles chart in 2000, electronic dance duo Wideboys, comprised of Jim Sullivan and Eddie Craig, went on to solidify their reputation as master producers and remixers. The duo initiated their career in 1996, launching their production work with ‘All I Wanna Do’ in 1998 on Union Jack Records, followed by ‘Stand and Deliver’ in 1999 on Social Circles.
Demonstrating their extensive production and curation skills, they also released the double-LP series ‘Pirate Selectas’ on Garage Jams in 2005 and followed with a second ‘Pirate Selectas’ double-LP in 2006. In the late 2000s, Wideboys significantly expanded their career through a strategic partnership with Ministry of Sound. This collaboration saw them release several popular DJ-mix albums, including the highly successful ‘Addicted to Bass’ series, which commenced in 2009 and became particularly popular among electronic dance music enthusiasts. Further diversifying their portfolio, Wideboys also composed the theme tune for the popular long-running television show ‘Wheeler Dealers.’ The duo continues to be a valuable asset for music-related brand collaborations and high-profile events, leveraging their extensive catalog of hits and remixes.
