Alex Vargas

Alex Vargas achieved significant international chart success in 2016 with his EP ‘Giving Up the Ghost,’ which topped both the Danish and Dutch iTunes Album Charts, and featured the No. 1 Danish iTunes Singles Chart hit ‘Shackled Up.’ Prior to this, Vargas established his musical foundation in London, where he signed with Geffen Records and formed the band Vagabond. During his tenure with Vagabond, the band successfully completed two sold-out headline tours across the UK and performed at major music festivals including Glastonbury, T in the Park, and V Festival. In 2010, Vargas transitioned to a solo career, quickly gaining recognition for his distinctive vocal talent and songwriting.

His discography expanded further with the album ‘Ego (Super/Trip/Maniac)’ in 2019, showcasing his evolving artistic range. Most recently, Vargas released his album ‘Big Big Machine’ in 2023, which achieved No. 3 on the Danish charts, demonstrating his sustained appeal and critical reception within his home country and beyond.
