Martijn Gerard Garritsen, known professionally as Martin Garrix, has evolved from a teenage prodigy to a globally recognized DJ and music producer. After finding early success with hit singles and headlining major festivals, he founded his own record label, Stmpd Rcrds, and continues to influence the electronic dance music scene through his innovative productions and collaborations. After the breakthrough success of his solo single ‘Animals’ in June 2013, Martin Garrix quickly established himself as a dominant force in electronic dance music, becoming the youngest artist to achieve a number-one spot on Beatport. His rapid ascent saw him debut on DJ Magazine’s prestigious Top 100 DJs list at number 40 in 2013, climbing to number 4 just a year later in 2014.

That same year, he collaborated on ‘Loop’ with DallasK featuring Sasha Alex Sloan and released ‘Hero’ with Jvke for the popular Marvel Snap game. His consistent global impact and unparalleled talent were again recognized when he was named the second-best DJ in the world by DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Awards in 2022, cementing his enduring legacy and ongoing influence across the global music landscape.
