Gorgon City

Gorgon City, composed of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, are an English electronic music production duo known for their contributions to house, electronic, and UK garage genres. After their initial collaborative effort with The Crypt EP, released in February 2012 and featuring artists Navigator, Rubi Dan, and Janai, Gorgon City, composed of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, achieved broader recognition. A significant milestone occurred in February 2013 with the release of their Real EP, which featured Yasmin and saw its lead track enter the UK Singles Chart at number 44 and the UK Indie Chart at number 7. This success laid the groundwork for their debut studio album, Sirens, released in October 2014, which climbed to number 10 on the UK Albums Chart.

In 2023, the duo expanded their influence in the music industry by renewing their global publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing UK. The same year, they further diversified their creative and business ventures by launching REALM Publishing in partnership with Sony Music Publishing, establishing a platform for their expanding catalog. Their latest album, Reverie, was released in 2024, marking another chapter in their prolific career. Looking ahead, Gorgon City announced a strategic stylistic shift in 2024, committing to a focus on ‘pure club music.’ This deliberate move aims to deepen their engagement with the core elements of club culture, underscoring their dedication to the foundational sounds that have defined their celebrated career while maintaining their signature sound and innovative approach to electronic music production.
