JD Davis is a prominent Belgian musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ, recognized for his contributions to house, EDM, and hard trance music.
JD Davis co-wrote, co-composed, and sang on David Guetta's singles "The World Is Mine" and "In Love with Myself" from the album *Guetta Blaster*, and later on "Winner of the Game," "Always," and "This Is Not a Love Song" from *Pop Life*. His collaboration on "The World is Mine" earned him the International Artist of the Year award.
Collaborated on the track "Closer to Me" in 2004 and later on "Girlz" (2007) and "Get High" and "Lonely" (2008).
Released singles as a DJ/producer, including "New Skin" and "Changed" (featuring Skye of Morcheeba) in 2013, and "UP" in 2014.

David Henrard, known professionally as JD Davis and Dave Davis, was born on April 13, 1973. His musical journey began at the age of 17 when he relocated to Antwerp to join Bonzai Records. Early in his career, he released music under various aliases, including Dave Davis, Les Sabotages, Phrenetic System, and Davis & Santini, starting with “Transfiguration” around 1995. Davis quickly established himself in the electronic music scene, performing at major festivals and clubs globally, such as Mayday, Love Parade, Street Parade, Energy (Zurich), Gay Pride (Paris), and Francofolies De Spa. He also held a residency at Cherry Moon in Belgium. His early work under the Dave Davis moniker on Bonzai Records solidified his presence as a versatile artist.
A significant turning point in JD Davis’s career came around 2004 with his collaboration with David Guetta. He co-wrote, co-composed, and provided vocals for the hit singles “The World Is Mine” and “In Love with Myself” from Guetta’s album *Guetta Blaster*. In the same year, his collaboration with Chab, “Closer to Me,” was released, further expanding his reach. His success continued in 2006 with Guetta’s album *Pop Life*, where Davis co-wrote and sang on tracks such as “Winner of the Game,” “Always,” and “This Is Not a Love Song.” That year, he was honored with the International Artist of the Year award at the Dance Music Awards in Kyiv, Ukraine, for his work on “The World is Mine.” He has collaborated with notable artists like Antoine Clamaran, Joachim Garraud, Kiko, Sinema, Playgroup (Trevor Jackson), Tocadisco, and Junior Jack.
From 2011 onwards, Davis dedicated time to studio work with Joachim Garraud. In 2013, he released singles as a DJ/producer on the UK label Skint Records, including “New Skin” and “Changed,” which featured Skye Edwards of Morcheeba on vocals. Concurrently, he contributed a remix of Skye’s single “Nowhere” for PIAS Records UK. His discography includes numerous releases and collaborations, demonstrating a continuous output and evolution in his sound. Recent works include “Sunglasses at Night” (2022) with DJ From Mars and “Blue Monday” (2023) with Oliver Heldens and DJ From Mars, showcasing his ongoing relevance in the electronic music landscape.
