Phillip Jenkins, operating under the moniker Life on Planets, began his musical journey in Baltimore. Initially, Life on Planets was a duo that emerged from the studio lofts of their East Coast hometown, combining indie art-rock and electronic music. This collaboration involved two distinct personalities merging their creative visions. The project later transitioned into a solo act led by Phill Celeste, continuing to draw from his diverse influences.
His artistic approach involves blending soul, R&B, and house music within his original productions. This eclectic sound has led him from performing on the streets of Baltimore to stages in various cities globally. Milestones in his career include the release of albums such as “Curious Palace” in 2015 and “Cosmic Dubs” in 2016. He has also released numerous singles and EPs, collaborating with various artists and labels.
Throughout his career, Phillip Jenkins has consistently focused on fusing live performance with electronic music. His intent is to create an electrical, connective, and magical atmosphere on dance floors, spreading messages of truth, love, and consciousness.
