As It Is

As It Is is a British-American rock band known for its melodic pop-punk and emo-inspired sound. Formed in 2012, the band has released four studio albums and garnered a global fanbase through extensive touring and impactful concept records. After signing with Fearless Records in October 2014, becoming the first UK band to join the label, As It Is released their critically acclaimed debut full-length album, ‘Never Happy, Ever After,’ in April 2015. Formed in 2012, the rock band had previously garnered local recognition and embarked on UK and European tours following their fourth EP, ‘This Mind of Mine,’ released in 2014.

The success of ‘Never Happy, Ever After,’ which included singles such as ‘Dial Tones’ and ‘Concrete,’ propelled As It Is to perform at the 2015 Warped Tour and the renowned Reading and Leeds Festivals, establishing their global presence. The band continued its prolific output with their second album, ‘okay.,’ released in January 2017. Following lineup adjustments, As It Is recorded their third album, ‘The Great Depression,’ which debuted in August 2018. This record marked a significant stylistic evolution, embracing a more aggressive and theatrical sound, showcased through singles like ‘The Wounded World’ and ‘The Stigma (Boys Don’t Cry).’ In 2018, they also contributed a cover of ‘Such Great Heights’ to Hopeless Records’ ‘Songs That Saved My Life’ compilation.

The band is also confirmed to play the Vans Warped Tour in 2025, signaling a full return to major touring and live performances.
