Barry Bostwick is an accomplished actor and singer known for his extensive career across Broadway, film, and television. After earning a Tony Award nomination for originating the role of Danny Zuko in the 1972 Broadway musical Grease, Barry Bostwick went on to establish a distinguished career across stage, film, and television. He made his Broadway debut in Cock-a-Doodle Dandy in 1969, before his acclaimed performance in Grease. His stage success continued, earning him a Tony Award in 1977 for his starring role in The Robber Bridegroom.

Bostwick achieved widespread recognition as Brad Majors in the cult classic film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). He further showcased his talents in film, starring alongside George C. Scott in the two-part feature Movie Movie (1978). Bostwick transitioned his notable stage and film presence to television with significant impact in the 1980s.

He starred as Mayor Randall Winston for six seasons on the hit sitcom Spin City (19962002). During this period, he also held recurring roles in dramas such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Demonstrating his commitment beyond acting, Bostwick received the Gilda Radner Courage Award from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2004 for his advocacy. From 2007 to 2012, he lent his voice to the recurring role of Grandpa Clyde Flynn on the popular animated series Phineas and Ferb.
