Calum Scott

Calum Scott is an English singer and songwriter known for his emotive vocal performances, transitioning from a talent show contestant to a globally recognized recording artist. After earning a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell with his viral rendition of Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ on the ninth series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in April 2015, Calum Scott captivated audiences, with his audition video accumulating over 378 million views on YouTube. He advanced to the semi-finals, performing ‘We Don’t Have to Take Our Clothes Off,’ and ultimately finished sixth in the final after singing Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds.’ Prior to this breakthrough, Scott won the Mail’s Star Search talent competition in 2013. In 2014, he co-founded the electronic duo The Experiment with John McIntyre, releasing their debut single ‘Girl (You’re Beautiful)’ and appearing on television programs such as ‘Good Morning Britain’ and ‘BBC Look North.’ Scott’s independent release of ‘Dancing on My Own’ in April 2016 became a sleeper hit, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart and achieving the status of Britain’s best-selling single of summer 2016.
