Cedric Gervais

Grammy-winning DJ, record producer, and actor Cedric Gervais achieved international acclaim with his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” in 2013. This pivotal track soared to number one on Beatport, topped the UK Singles Chart, and hit number six on the American Billboard 100, ultimately earning 2x Platinum status in the US. For this work, Gervais was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical in 2014. Prior to this, Gervais honed his skills as a resident DJ at Paris’s Le Queen club.

Demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to the industry, Gervais founded two record labels throughout the 2000s: Sleaze for digital releases and Sleaze Industries for physical releases, both dedicated to progressive and tribal house music. His 2012 track, “Molly,” achieved success by reaching number 26 in the official UK charts, further solidifying his presence in the electronic music scene. In October 2014, Gervais signed significant deals with Interscope Records and Polydor Records, leading to the release of his single “Love Again” that same month. His track “Molly” was prominently featured in Michael Bay’s 2013 film Pain & Gain, marking Gervais’s acting debut in the film.
