Chungha has transitioned from an acclaimed K-Pop girl group member to a successful solo artist, known for her powerful vocals and dynamic performances, garnering global representation and collaborations with international artists. After gaining initial recognition by finishing in fourth place on Mnet’s reality girl group survival show, Produce 101, Chungha debuted with the project girl group I.O.I in May 2016, releasing their mini-album ‘Chrysalis.’ The group achieved commercial success, with their unit track ‘Whatta Man’ reaching number 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart. Following the dissolution of I.O.I in 2017, Chungha launched her solo career, releasing her debut EP ‘Hands on Me’ in June 2017. Her single ‘Why Don’t You Know’ marked her official solo debut, and she quickly built her presence through collaborations and TV appearances, including hosting EBS’ ‘Ah!

Demonstrating her continued evolution, she released her digital single album ‘Eenie Meenie’ in March 2024, followed by the digital single ‘Algorithm’ later in 2024. Looking ahead, Chungha is set to release her fifth mini album, ‘Alivio,’ in 2025, continuing to cement her status as a leading global K-Pop soloist known for her powerful vocals and dynamic performances.
