Dave Hause

Dave Hause has established a significant presence as a musician and songwriter, transitioning from the punk rock scene to a solo career focused on heartland and folk rock. After co-founding The Loved Ones in April 2004, Dave Hause quickly established himself as a dynamic frontman, releasing a self-titled EP in 2005, followed by two critically acclaimed full-length albums, ‘Keep Your Heart’ (2006) and ‘Build & Burn’ (2008), all through Fat Wreck Chords. Prior to this, Hause honed his craft within the hardcore and punk genres, playing guitar in Step Ahead, which released a full album, and later co-founding The Curse in the early 2000s, contributing guitar and shared vocals to two tracks on ‘The Philadelphia Sound’ and a six-track EP. He also lent his guitar and backing vocals to Paint It Black’s 2003 album, ‘CVA.’ By 2009, Hause began exploring solo material, performing as part of Chuck Ragan’s acclaimed Revival Tour, which led to his debut solo 7-inch single in 2010 and his first solo album, ‘Resolutions,’ released in 2011 via Paper + Plastick.

This entrepreneurial venture coincided with the release of his fifth studio album, also titled ‘Blood Harmony,’ through the new label in 2021. Demonstrating sustained momentum, he followed this with ‘Drive It Like It’s Stolen’ in 2023, showcasing his evolving artistry and independent spirit. Looking ahead, Hause has announced a robust schedule of new music, beginning with the 2024 release of ‘Versus.’ Further expanding his repertoire, he plans to release two additional albums in 2025: ‘Nurses’ and ‘…and The Mermaid.’ These upcoming projects underscore Dave Hause’s enduring commitment to his craft and his continued ability to engage a global fanbase with his distinctive blend of punk-infused Americana.
