Dream State

Dream State is a dynamic Welsh rock band formed in 2014, known for their captivating sound that blends post-hardcore and alternative rock. The band initially gained attention with their debut EP, “Consequences,” released in 2015, which showcased their raw energy and lyrical depth. Their early single, “Burn Them Down,” set the stage for their rise in the music scene, establishing them as a promising new act in the UK rock landscape.

In 2017, Dream State signed with the Australian record label UNFD, marking a significant milestone in their career. This partnership led to the release of their second EP, “Recovery,” in 2018, which further solidified their reputation. The band also made a notable contribution to the compilation album “Songs That Saved My Life,” covering Linkin Park’s “Crawling,” demonstrating their commitment to mental health awareness through music.

The release of their debut album, “Primrose Path,” in October 2019 was a pivotal moment for Dream State, debuting at number 100 on the UK Albums Chart and earning recognition from Loudwire as one of the best rock albums of the year. Following the album’s success, they embarked on extensive tours, supporting renowned acts and captivating audiences across Europe.

With a refreshed lineup in 2022, including new members Jessie Powell, Jake Bowen, and Tom Connolly, Dream State continues to evolve. Their recent EP, “Untethered,” and upcoming mini-album, “Still Dreaming,” set for release in January 2024, showcase their relentless creativity and dedication to their craft, ensuring their place as a leading force in modern rock.
