After achieving widespread recognition through viral tracks like ‘Opaul’ and ‘Cha Cha’ on platforms such as TikTok, Freddie Dredd established himself as a Canadian rapper, singer, producer, and songwriter known for his unique blend of hip-hop, trap, and phonk. Developing a distinctive sound characterized by grainy, vintage samples, lo-fi aesthetics, and elements of ’90s Memphis and Houston rap, Dredd first began uploading music as Freddie Dredd to SoundCloud in 2014.
