Irving Adjei, better known as Headie One, is a widely recognised British rapper and songwriter from Tottenham, London. Headie One is celebrated for tracks such as ‘18Hunna’, which reached No 6 on the UK Singles Chart and features Dave. In 2018 he released his debut mixtape, titled The One, the mixtape spawned the single ‘Know Better’ which featured the rapper RV, the single became an underground hit and paved the path for his musical career.

Headie One has since released seven mixtapes, his first mainstream mixtape was titled Music x Road and reached No 5 on the UK Albums Chart. The release was praised by fans and critics alike and was noted as a progression from his usual style, NME described it as “often far from drill”. Headie One has collaborated with many esteemed rap artists such as Skepta and in 2019 he featured on Stormzy’s Heavy Is the Head album on the song ‘Audacity’. More recently, in 2020 he released a single which featured the famous rapper and R&B artist Drake, titled ‘Only You Freestyle.
