Jerry Rivera has established himself as a prominent salsa singer and songwriter, achieving international recognition and multi-platinum sales. After being signed to CBS in 1988, Jerry Rivera released his debut album, ‘Empezando a Vivir,’ in 1989, which featured the track ‘De la Cabeza a los Pies.’ His career rapidly gained significant momentum with his second album, ‘Abriendo Puertas’ (1990), and dramatically accelerated with the release of ‘Cuenta Conmigo’ in 1992. This landmark album achieved multi-platinum status and stands as one of the highest-selling salsa albums. ‘Cuenta Conmigo’ generated international hit songs including ‘Amores Como el Nuestro’ and ‘Casi Un Hechizo,’ firmly establishing Rivera’s distinctive presence in the salsaromántica genre and captivating new audiences across Latin America and the United States.
