Karina

Karina, a prominent South Korean singer and rapper, leads the globally recognized K-pop girl group Aespa and is a member of the supergroup Got the Beat. After debuting on October 27, 2020, as the leader of SM Entertainment’s globally recognized K-pop girl group Aespa, Karina went on to release the digital single ‘Black Mamba’ on November 17, 2020. Her path to debut included notable pre-debut appearances, such as starring in labelmate Taemin’s 2019 music video for ‘Want’ and performing alongside him on music programs. In 2020, Karina also participated in ‘The All-New Tucson, Beyond Drive,’ a virtual showcase for Hyundai and SM Entertainment, collaborating with EXO’s Kai.

Demonstrating her philanthropic commitments, Karina donated ?100 million to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association in March 2025 to support wildfire recovery efforts. Later in 2025, she was featured on Jannabi’s single ‘May the Tenderness Be with You!,’ further showcasing her versatility and ongoing impact across the entertainment industry.
