Jonathan Whitmer, known professionally as Kxllswxtch, was born on July 17, 1999, in Orange County, California. He began his musical career in 2017, finding music to be an important creative outlet. His early work included various styles, from trap beats to screamo-adjacent vocals and guitar-driven melodies, exemplified by tracks like “CameToKillShit” (2017), “Skull Crack” (2019), and “Gravel” (2019). His music often incorporates elements of trap, grunge, and heavy metal, alongside yelling and screamed vocals. Whitmer has cited artists such as Nirvana and Future as significant influences on his genre-blending approach.

In 2020, Kxllswxtch signed with Empire distribution, leading to the release of his EP “Kill!”. This was followed by his debut studio album, “Disorder”, in 2021. The album featured songs like “WASTE,” which later received RIAA Platinum certification in 2025. He continued to release successful albums, including “The Walls Have Eyes” (2023), “Bittersweet” (2024), and “Eyesore” (2025). His recent singles, such as “SOS” (2023), further demonstrate his evolving style, which integrates pop/rock choruses with rapid-fire lyrical delivery.

Kxllswxtch’s career has also included numerous collaborations and tours. He has collaborated with artists such as Pouya, Fat Nick, and Mikey the Magician. He has embarked on several headlining tours, including “KXLLSWXTCH EUROPE TOUR” (2023), “THE WALLS HAVE EYES TOUR” (2024), “HELP ME IN HELL TOUR” (2025), and “EYESORE THE TOUR” (2026). He has also supported other artists on tours, such as Pouya’s “Blood Was Never Thick As Water Tour” (2021) and the “All But 6 Tour” (2023).
