Aly Spaltro, known as Lady Lamb, is a self-taught musician and producer who has built a career through independent releases and thoughtful songwriting. After cultivating a unique artistic voice through a series of independent releases, Lady Lamb released her debut studio album, Ripely Pine, on February 19, 2013, via Ba Da Bing Records. Recorded in 2012 with producer Nadim Issa at Let Em In Music in Gowanus, Brooklyn, this foundational project followed a significant period of prolific output, including early self-released albums such as The Tingly Circus (2007), Someday We Will Levitate (2008), Samples for Handsome Animals (2008), Mammoth Swoon (2010), and head is swimming (2012 bedroom recordings). This extensive early catalog showcased her distinctive songwriting and self-taught musicianship, building a dedicated fanbase.
