Luna Wielgomas, known professionally as Luna, is a dynamic Polish singer and songwriter who has made significant strides in the music industry. Her career began in 2010 when she joined the Artos Children’s Choir at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw, where she honed her vocal skills and performed in operas. This early experience laid the foundation for her artistic journey, showcasing her talent and passion for music.
In 2018, Luna took a pivotal step in her career by collaborating with the Kayax label as part of the “My Name Is New” project. Her debut single, “Na wzgórzach niepokoju,” released in September 2018, received airplay on Polskie Radio Program III, marking her entry into the Polish music scene. Following this, she captivated audiences with performances at various festivals, including the Naturalnie Mazury Festival and the Pol’n’Rock Festival, further establishing her presence as a rising star.
Luna’s artistic evolution continued in 2020 when she embraced her new stage name and released the single “Luna,” which signified her connection to the moon and nighttime. Her subsequent singles, such as “Zgaś” and “Mniej,” showcased her unique sound, blending cosmic pop with emotional depth. Notably, “Zgaś” was celebrated as one of the best Polish songs of 2020, solidifying her reputation as a talented artist.
In 2024, Luna represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “The Tower,” demonstrating her international appeal.
