Matthew Logan Vasquez is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He is widely recognized as the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for the indie rock band Delta Spirit. Beyond his work with Delta Spirit, Vasquez is also a member of the indie supergroup Middle Brother, a collaboration with artists from other bands. His musical journey includes multiple solo releases and involvement in various projects, demonstrating a consistent output in the indie music scene. His artistic path has been shaped by diverse geographic influences, including his upbringing in Texas and along the California coast, time spent developing his music in Brooklyn, and his return to Austin, Texas, reflecting a multifaceted approach to his creative process.

Vasquez commenced his solo career with the release of his debut solo album, “Solicitor Returns,” in 2016. This was followed by “Does What He Wants” in 2017 and “Light’n Up” in 2019. In 2018, he was part of the indie supergroup Glorietta, a project described by Billboard magazine. His sound is characterized by a blend of passionate delivery and lyrical depth, drawing comparisons to artists such as Neil Young and Kurt Cobain. His compositions often explore themes of struggle and optimism, integrating personal experiences into his music.
