Medeski Martin & Wood (MMW) is an innovative jazz fusion band formed in 1991, consisting of John Medeski on keyboards, Billy Martin on drums, and Chris Wood on bass. The trio emerged from the vibrant New York jazz scene, where they first performed at the Village Gate.
